¡Hola! I’m Natalee: the quilter, sewist, and colorful mess behind Quilty Amiga.

I started quilting with thrifted textiles and scraps, teaching myself as I went, and quickly realized that quilting isn’t just about fabric and thread, it’s about community. Quilty Amiga is my way of creating a safe, modern, bilingual space where all amigas (and amigos!) can learn, share, and feel welcome.

Here you’ll find beginner-friendly tutorials, playful patterns, and plenty of Spanglish sprinkled in because quilting should feel approachable, joyful, and rooted in culture. Whether you’re brand-new or a seasoned maker, my goal is to inspire you to stitch something beautiful, sustainable, and uniquely you.
